Health Trainers Award

What are the qualifications about?

With a Certificate for Health Trainers you will get the knowledge and skills you need to work as a Health Trainer - someone who works in a community to support people's health and wellbeing with sensible and practical advice.  You can play a role in  reducing health inequalities in the community - and you will be able to apply your skills across a range of diverse workplaces.

A Certificate for Health Trainers is a great option if you like the idea of working closely with people - often in your own community - to promote better health and well-being. You do not need any previous qualifications so it is a great way to kick-start a career in this field.

Why choose City & Guilds?

A City & Guilds qualification is proof that you have the right skills to do your job well - which is why so many employers look for people who have one. You can be confident your qualification is well respected within your industry.

From September, Joining Hands will offer 6 courses per year for a Health Trainers Award.  Students will study for 4 weeks and will be placed with alternative health therapists for practical experience if they are not already in emploment.

There are 70 guided learning hours for the award.

Certificate or Diploma in Housing

What are the qualifications about?

With a Certificate or Diploma in Housing, you can progress your housing career by learning how to work with colleagues and customers in a way that promotes safe, ethical and sustainable working practices.

You will gain the skills to provide an enhanced service to customers by applying organisational policies and procedures - and there are opportunities to progress to higher qualifications.

Who are they for?

A Certificate or Diploma in Housing is designed for people already working in the housing industry. You should have experience in the industry and may even be working in a supervisory capacity.

It's ideal if you want to progress your career further, perhaps into a managerial role, or if you want to expand your skill set.
